Parrot Rock itself adds a unique charm to the scenery, making this part of the beach a favorite for visitors looking to soak in the natural beauty.
At the main beach you will find lots of Restaurants, in the evening they will serve grilled seafood.
Coconut Tree Hill is a small, scenic promontory just north of Mirissa beach on Sri Lanka’s southern coast. A cluster of tall coconut palms crowns a grassy slope that drops down to the turquoise bay, creating iconic silhouettes against sunrise and especially sunset. Parrot Rock only 400m away from our hotel is a small, scenic rock formation just off the beach, famous for its natural arch and beautiful views. It's a popular spot for photography and watching sunsets over the Indian Ocean. You can climb it to enjoy panoramic coastal scenery, only recommended whith calm sea.



Fisher’s Bay in Weligama is a charming coastal spot in Sri Lanka known for its tranquil beach and excellent surfing conditions. It's a favorite among both local and visiting surfers because of its gentle, rolling waves that are perfect for beginners. Thalaramba Beach, a peaceful stretch just beyond Mirissa, offers a quieter alternative to the busier Mirissa Beach. Fringed by swaying palms and backed by low dunes, it has soft golden sand and a calm, gently lapping sea where local fishing boats dot the horizon. The atmosphere is relaxed and unhurried — ideal for long walks, a tranquil swim, or watching a colorful sunset without the crowds. Facilities are limited compared with Mirissa, so bring water and snacks; expect a few small local stalls and friendly fishermen rather than large cafés. It’s a great place to experience a more authentic, laid-back coastal vibe.
Dondra Head Lighthouse, at Sri Lanka’s southernmost tip, is worth a visit for its dramatic coastal views, striking white lighthouse tower, and serene seaside atmosphere. Built in the late 19th century, the lighthouse and surrounding ruins offer a glimpse into maritime history and colonial-era engineering. It’s easy to combine with other southern attractions like the blowing hole or hiriketiya beach.
